      Information
Hammertime is a heavyweight that was built in 2008 by Roaming Robots. It was originally built by John Heatlie from Selkirk as Corkscrew 2 which lost the first round of its heat in the UK Seventh Series of Robot Wars. After competing in many class 2 events, Corkscrew 2 was sold to John Findlay. As spinners are not allowed to compete in a lot of heavyweight events, it was rebuilt and renamed to Hammertime so that it would have a hammer as its weapon making it resemble American heavyweight FrenZy. Hammertime didn't have the most effective of hammers but it was a fun robot to drive and was a good pusher. At the end of 2009, Hammertime was sold again and the hammer went to Team Batter who used it for their robot Scorpion. The remaining body was given to Team Tilly who renamed it as Dizzy 101.
