Information
The Kraken is a heavyweight robot that was built in Middlesex by Team Victor who previously competed in Series 2 and 3 of the UK Robot Wars with Victor. The first version was built in 2003 for Series 7 which had two sets of jaws, the pneumatic one used for clamping and the hydraulic one for piercing. However it only reached the second round of its heat and was beaten by Thermidor 2. After Robot Wars ended, The Kraken was rebuilt to be smaller and stronger and the pneumatic jaw was replaced by a lifter.
