It was built as the successor to the teams previous robot Hydrotec which lost its heat final of the German Robot Wars to Black Hole in 2002. Snake Bite made its first appearance on Robot Wars in the European Championships in Extreme 2 where it lost the first round Tornado. It came back for the UK Seventh Wars the next year where it didn't qualify for the competition but qualified for the 3rd World Championships where it lost the first round also to Crushtacean. The current incarnation it was in before it retired was built in 2005 where it took part in the 2005 European Championships where it lost to PulverizeR. Snake Bite is armed with a powerful hydraulic crushing jaw similar to that of Razer which gives it crushing power venomous as a Black mamba.
