      Information
Pussycat is a robot that has been around since Series 3 of Robot Wars, it was originally built by Team Cold Fusion as the predecessor to their robot Bodyhammer which had been around since Series 1. From Series 3, it was driven by David Gribble who's skilful driving helped it to reach the grand-final of Series 4 where it got beaten by Chaos 2 and also the semi-finals of Series 5 where it lost to Firestorm 3. Pussycat didn't return for Series 6 due to the untimely death of David Gribble who was unfortunately involved a traffic accident and sadly died but it returned for Series 7. However, Alan and his wife Anne worked for the series as Technical consultants leaving Stuart Barnwell to take over as he was looking for robot building advice from them nearer the time. Pussycat didn't progress beyond the heats then, but Stu's driving helped it claim the All-Stars title at the end of the series. Pussycat, was armed with a very powerful spinning blade that was said to be capable of demolishing a garage and was cleverly designed so it could land on its feet like a cat. Alan Gribble passed away in November 2013 after a battle with cancer, but he is always remembered for his sportsmanship at events.

I took three Featherweight Robots to the latest Robodojo live event November 2025 and had a spot of bother with all three.
