Information
Mechaniac was the first and only heavyweight robot to be built in Austria, it was built in 2003 for the UK Seventh series of Robot Wars. There it failed to qualify where it lost to Gravity in the Qualifiers, it only made one appearance on the TV and that was when it failed to make the World Championships where it lost to Supernova in the qualifier. Mechaniac was armed with a very powerful flipper and the team used to dress in traditional Austrian costume.
