      Information
Hypno-Disc is a heavyweight that was built in 1999 by the Rose family from Banbury. It first entered Robot Wars Series 3 where it reached 3 Grand-finals from there and did very well in Robot Wars. Hypno-Disc is very well known for its spinning disc that caused a lot of damage to other robots that came in its way, it would rip off opponents armour plating before going in to damage internal workings like batteries and such. Despite the destructive nature of Hypno-Disc and the fact it was deemed a robot to avoid, Hypno-Disc never won a title in the shows history making it known as the best robot that never won anything on the show. Hypno-Disc is retired nowadays due to the arenas not being able to handle the destruction caused by spinners, it did however appear at the Robot Crusade 2004 event where it did a demo with Razer.
