      Information
Hammerhead 3 is a Dutch heavyweight robot that was built in 2003 by Niels de Carpenter. The first two versions fought in Robot Wars, version one lost the second round of its heat in the Dutch Series 1 of Robot Wars to Botwork while version 2 lost in the second round of its heat in the Dutch Series 2 to Krab-Bot and the UK Seventh Wars to eventual champion Typhoon 2. This version has a lot of improvements, a stronger shell designed to take on spinners and a full-body flipper that can send most opponents out the arena. Hammerhead 3 is most well known for winning the 2005 European Championships defeating Kan-Opener in the final.
