Information
Gravity is a robot which was originally built in 2002 by dutch roboteer WJ Dijkstra for the Dutch Robot Wars. Version one made the heat final but the next version entered Robot Wars UK Series 7 and enjoyed a lot of success on the show. Not only did it reach the semi-finals beating seeded 13 Black on the way, but it set a Robot Wars record taking 6 seconds to flip Dantomkia out the arena and was the only robot in history to flip house robots Dead Metal, Growler & Cassius Chrome. Gravity's flipper powered by multiple inlet 1/2 bsp valves, buffer tanks and a giant 100mm bore 180mm stroke non-attached ram was a first as it spawned many others that are also fighting today. Gravity is in its 5th incarnation as Gravity 5.2 which is a lot smaller and more compact and the flipper has been upgraded to be a lot more powerful.
