Yeah seemed too good to be true for a while. Need to put it all together yet and then can see the quality of the threads and stuff.
Had a couple of hours tonight putting my new drive together. Not sure how it will go but for thirty quid it was worth a punt. Haven't quite sussed how to embed imgur imgs yet. The make-do soldering station made me laugh so I took a picture. The drill motor is from low budget 1. The other was a write off. I've kept it and stripped it down, locked the clutch up and re-soldered the cables. Keep wanting to use it for a weapon on Low Budget 2 but not sure what to do with it. It was too good to throw away. I have the other with a wheel on, but after getting thrown by a flipper and landing on it I can't get the wheel off the shaft. Anyway, some pictures. Questions / comments / ideas welcome as ever.

Looks very much like how I am rebuilding The Honey Badger, not in a shed per se but in the lounge (and my office). Your soldering is much better than mine though!
I found that if it is just stuck on by force rather than screws (or if the wheel was superglued on, as was my case), get a cup or something that is smaller than the wheel diameter (so it can overhang over it) but deep enough for the motor to float in it and then using a nail and a careful touch of the hammer hitting the shaft, I found that would drift the motor off of the wheel. This will only work of course if there is any motor shaft visible.I have the other with a wheel on, but after getting thrown by a flipper and landing on it I can't get the wheel off the shaft.

Coming soon! Lol
We already have a teapot robot, a toaster would fit right in!
I have a biscuit tin and a roses tin built for the beetle stuff. Then spinners were everywhere so they are sat on a shelf lol.
Another hour at it today. Took extrusion to my Dad who cut it like a boss (ex rally car mech). Think you can see from the pics what I'm aiming for. Realised I can't get the finish I want myself with my bits of tools, so going to outsource anything I will make a hash of.
