hi pj, yes building at work on my breaks.
i'm hoping the hydraulic pump arrives by tuesday as i've started machining up the parts for the 2 stage ram.
i may well take u up on that offer, will keep posting here as i build.

The first hydraulic feather build, way back before 2010.
little update on mooch.
improvised a jig to hold the pump still.
connected an 18v cordless drill to it and saw regular 900-1000 psi readings over 3 goes.
means i should have 12560 pounds force from my ram less say 15 % for mechanical losses = 10676lbs
good start i think
