I didn't know that! that's almost half a kilo heavier per motor then the bosch 750!

On par with the Iskra's. Those motors use a solid 5mm wall steel tube as motorhousing with ali endcaps.
No taping off the vent holes and so on.
Hi Mario, What model Movimotor are you referring to and how much does it typically cost?
No Idea and no Idea. It's a 24V version with around the power of a Bosch 750.
I do like the 24v 800w iskras. 2.5kg, solid with no holes to speak of and terminals to hook up to. Smaller than a bosch 750. Shame they are over £200 new.
dc electric motor series s114se
Ellis components are selling the 750w Movimotor as a Bosch replacement for about 95 quid. Looks like quite a strong unit with the exception of the Cast end caps. Shouldn't be to much of a problem though as long as the motor body is well secured to the chassis.
Have you attempted to run them at 50v Mario?
I didn't run them at all. I just handled them a bit.
And, no, it isn't a good idea to run them at 50V. That's double the rated voltage. It's been a rule of tumb since the start of RW that overvolting more than 1.5x will result in broken motors.
