Cheapest and easiest option would probably be something like this:

Has every connection type you'd want along with different sized balancing connectors too. Just plug em in and let them charge. Don't leave them over night and if they start to get even the slightest bit warm, unplug them!!
It needs a 12v power supply, so if you don't have one already, you can grab them pretty cheap online too:

Turnigy Lipo's have been reliable in my previous RC projects. I can't speak much for robots though, as I'm still building my first one. This is the Lipo I was recommended to use in my bot though:
