Honestly Alex, I'd swap out that polycarbonate for HDPE if you can - that'd probably save a nice bit of weight, I'd imagine!
And haha it is Sam, I'll give you that! Your huge, uber-power bar caused a 2cm wide crack in 2mm hdpe
Haha indeed I do Dave! I meant to come over and say hi at some point, but it's hard putting a face to names. Rancid seemed to hold up really well, may end up borrowing a few ideas with the aluminium angle haha!
Might manage a 3cm crack next time!
Seriously though if Lynx works how it has been in recent testing you're all going to eat your words.....just sayin '
Yeah, forget all this with the laptop powered esc's and cnc'd bodies, all you need is a drill, hacksaw and a kitchen step. And shock mounted internals

Liking the look of the drum (or not depending on where my bot is !)
Presume they were cut with a water jet?
What package did you use to design? (Interested in how you got the balance)
Watercut yeah hence rust on the edges. Designed in emachineshop which I suggested to Matt as its piss simple for single toothing stuff.
Great work with that new lathe Haz!
Looking good indeed. Is that a spare lying on the ground in the second picture or is there going to be another one of these things kicking around next month?!
Also, this thread's only on 27 pages according to my view. Need to increase the posts-per-page ratio, less clicking involved
