Hi guys. I am currently in the process of building my first featherweight robot and I need to know, where do you usually get a removable link from for the robot and where exactly would I solder this in? All advice appreciated.
Thanks: Dan.

Normally people just make one out of standard connectors. I prefer to use XT60's and you simply solder both sides of the connector together on the 'link' with a loop of wire. Then you solder it in usually on the positive line coming from the battery (Like you would a switch in an ant).
Also, make the removable part with the male side of the connector This makes it harder to accidentally switch the bot on with a tool or other conductive part.
this is why i prefer EC5s. both sides are insulated
Thanks guys.
