      Information
Thor is a heavyweight robot built by Jason Marston from Northamptonshire. The first version was built in 2002 for the Sixth series of Robot Wars where it got through to the second round of its heat losing to Tornado and finished 3rd in the New Blood Championships in the second series of Robot Wars Extreme. It also reached the second round of its heat in Series 7 where it lost to Lightning. Since 2001, Thor has been rebuilt 6 times but has always had the hammer as its weapon which is a fantastic weapon to watch in action and is capable of tenderising even the toughest of robot shells. Thor has done well in the live event circuit winning a Roaming Robots show in Portsmouth 2011, finishing 4th in the 2011 UK Championships at the O2 arena and even made a special TV appearance in 2011 along with Ripper on Epic Win when the two robots had to do a challenge in a caravan! Thor is also one of the most feared robots not just by competitors but by event organisers as its axe often damages the floor when hitting it.

I had originally planned to retire this robot owing to the fact that I wanted to get Kaizen 2.0 built but a minor change in circumstances
