Thread: a couple of questions...

    hi, just got a few questions;

    1. with bosch 400's do they spin faster in one direction than the other? if so what's the speed difference?
    2. has anyone tried running bosch 400's on 5/6 cell a123's. if so any problems?
    3. does anyone know the weight of hardox per cubic centimetre? or are there any good calculators for this on the internet?
    4. what's the thickest hardox you can drill with a pillar drill? if there is a max thickness
    5. does anyone know what the speed of a boasch 400 is on 18 volts?

    Hi Johnny ....
    All bosch motors come biast in one direction so you have to center them ....

    If you look at the side where the clips for the magnets sit there are 3 slots .. you have to remove the magnets and clips and reset them in the centre slot this makes them equal in speed in both directions .... and while you have them appart its a good idea to put a 6mm dowel in the spring clip holding the magnets in place ... this makes them more secure and will stop the magnets shifting .....

    As for the speed at 18V = 4800rpm its 1.5X the speed at 12V=3200rpm ...
