It's a solenoid / solenoid as opposed to the prefered combat type solenoid / spring....
in this type the spring returns the valve to the OFF position... with the solenoid / solenoid you must energise the correct solenoid to turn it OFF.
USE A SOLENOID / SPRING
The above explanation isn't the total story ...but close enough for the beginner.
ok
i knew about the solenoid / spring but i just wondered what solonoid / solonoid was

As u menchend before, is a 'dump valve' the real name for that type of valve?
Theo
P.s nealy done !!!¡!!!!
A dump valve is our term for ANY valve / tap etc that is used to allow the compressed gas remaining in the system to be vented or dumped at the end of a fight.
The dump valve is a manual valve.... such as http://www.airlines-pneumatics.co.uk...ctCode=S070103 for your 10 bar system.
Thank but as the rules say (and you menchend it before ) u need one for the full bar bottle. Am I right, some types of tanks/bottles have ones that u turn so would that count?
Spot on if you vent the low pressure side, we tend to vent on the high pressure side so need a 1000psi valve which you can get from technobots (or anywhere wlse really)Originally Posted by woody
