But should it be just a wedge or maybe a electric lifter? These look best choices for a beginner. I think lifter makes build and fighting a bit more interesting, but still safer to operate/test.

One with an electric lifter could be good, as it provides a step-by-step guide to building a weapon for those who wish to, but if anyone just wants a wedge/passive robot, they can stop after the basics have been covered and just armour up their robot.
its somthing i have always thought od doing but never had the time...but hey! its the summer holidays! :wink:
Or wouldn't it just be easier to post step by step videos of how you are creating your current Robot so people get a feel for why things are meant to go where they are?

I'll hopefully be starting my new robot build soon so that's something I might try and see how well it works. No guarantees it'll turn into a useful production though
