Thermidor 2 (9) vs. Raging Tempest

Poor Thermidor never stood a chance. The first hit tore a claw off, the second hit nearly dislodged the entire flipper mechanism, and the third tore the entire side of Thermidor open. Frank wasn't merely satisfied with that, angered by The Crashing Bore 2's early exit, and proceeded to litter the arena floor with Thermidor's parts. Even the house robots didn't dare go near Tempest.

Kat III (24) vs. Sheer Heart Attack 2

The other seed also falls after a hearty struggle. Kat III got a good grapple early on and pushed SHA2 into Matilda's CPZ, but SHA2 escaped and then bashed Kat III over and over with the drum. Kat III's shell stood up well but all the banging must have done something to the internals because after 5 massive hits, Kat III stopped moving.

Vengeance is Frank's; this time, Tempest's ring manages to totally tear out the drum of Sheer Heart Attack, but not before destroying the tracks. Humiliation is Martijn's.
