Round 1

Thermidor 2 (9) vs. Sheer Heart Attack 2 vs. Pussycat vs. The Crashing Bore 2

Thermidor wanted revenge against Pussycat for its Series 4 exit, and that's exactly what it got here. Being dogged around by Thermidor, and by both Frank and Martijn's creations, Pussycat was tossed onto its side and then ejected from the warzone by the lobster. Then Thermidor was teamed up against but managed to flip The Crashing Bore over and into the pit before being thrown onto its own back by SHA2 and torn into, hopefully Team Lobster can make some repairs in time for Round 2.

Kat III (24) vs. Sir Chromalot vs. Cabraken vs. Raging Tempest

Frank wasn't happy about the last battle, but boy did he make up for it here. Sir Chromalot was torn to shreds almost instantly by Raging Tempest and its remains were pitted by an astonished Sir Killalot. It battered Kat III around, but the seed survived long enough for Cabraken to charge in bravely, get plastered by a major hit from Tempest, and have its failsafe knocked out.
