The crank's come loose again and I can't find the flat of the weapon motor, and I don't want to take everything out again...

The Ratz competition is working very well now Jonno, I love the fact about the trophy...

What happens to it at the end of the year though? Whoever wins it then, keeps it, ja?

Well, having run these with the 7.2v nimh battery pack upgrade, i really couldn't recommend it more.

Yep, there was a little bit more speed but the benefit of having them run for three or four seessions was huge. We'd been having to charge them between fights but it isn't really necessary now. We had a fifteen minute play, football, assault course and combat before Cyanides batteries died and even then it wasn't right until the end of the session.

Anyway, sat looking at Luke's trophy so summat worked and have to say it looks rather good so it'll be coming back after Guildford

Would anything like this come on the market again?

There are some roboteers that do machines on commission. Antaz with his Antweigths for example. Ellis with Ranglebox did have a run too.

the issue you have with kit robots is simply the time element that has to go into them. A very basic featherweight could easily take 20 to 30 hours to put together properly. Now if you go by minimum wage plus materials then it really starts to add up.
