Okay. I looked on the Battlebots website, and apparently they're having a new tourney in November. Therefore, I must have a heavyweight robot(For now codenamed Armagedeathbot 3000) operational for the tourney.

The basic design is supposed to consist of an invertible wedge with a pneumatic spike in the wedge to hopefully flip opponents over and cause damage.

I haven't gotten started with it yet, because I need help choosing parts, some teammates, and some other minor things.

Here's the hitch: I need to build as cheap of a heavyweight as possible that can still run, so I need suggestions for very cheap, yet good, motors, speed controllers, pneumatic canisters, wheels, armour, remote controllers, and frame metal.

This topic is also in the Building Diaries section in the FRA section of the forum.
