    Welcome back after this short rest. Last time, Deadly Lampshade won the Featherweight Tournament!

    In this next battle, we have a clusterbot from Canada and a rammer from England fighting to become the Superheavyweight Champion

    From Toronto, in Canada, The System of Dr Tarr and Professor Fether

    This is Kodys robot. Dr Tarr is like Stinger, but with crushing jaws instead of an axe. Professor Fether is an invertible body spinner. A good design, but if one goes out, it all goes out

    From England, Drive

    This is Joey McCs robot. A 4WD with a wedge and sharp spikes. But how effective is it, though?

    Roboteers, stand by!

    3-2-1: Activate!

    Dr Tarr and Prof Fether split up, but Drive is too quick and SLAMS Dr Tarr into the wall! Dr Tarr balancing on one wheel there! Prof Fether tries to get around the back, but Drive is off again and turns to face Dr Tarr again! The jaws are closed, but it charges in anyway! Drive moves forward and the spikes on the wedge hook Dr Tarr onto it! SMASH! Prof Fether came in with its spinning body shell and Dr Tarr is spun off! Another massive impact on Drive by Prof Fether! Is Dr Tarr still moving? Has Kody knocked out his own robot? Thatd be ironic! The jaws are still working, but nothing else is...Drive pushes Prof Fether into the CPZ, the shell spins up, but Drive backs away and presses the pit release. Dont forget, if one part goes in, both are out! Drive DANGEROUSLY close, but the Refbot is looking at Dr Tarr, who is moving on ONE wheel. Nothing must be working for it to lose, though. Prof Fether has stopped spinning, but Drive takes advantage and pushes it across the arena floor and towards the pit...OH! In it goes! What a shock! Kody is out of the competition! Joey turns around and RAMS Dr Tarr into the wall! Its on its side, Dr Tarr. One jaw looks buckled. The Refbot doesnt have to count it out, though.

    Cease!

    Dr Tarr and Prof Fether are tarred and feathered!

    Well done to Drive! They win the Superheavyweight Competition!

    Next up, Hazard, Battlebotss three time Middleweight champion faces El Media Diablo in a destructive match! See you then!

    Drive proved too much for Kodys clusterbot The System of Dr Tarr and Prof Fether

    But now, Hazard and El Media Diablo enter the arena!

    From Wales, El Media Diablo

    Liam Elliots second entry. El Media Diablo looks exactly like Robot Wars winners Chaos II, with a Co2 powered flipper. What happens when the Co2 runs out, though?

    From California in the USA, Hazard

    Daniel Stickler and Tony Buchaniani join forces to enter Hazard. It has a spinning tool bar on the top that caused damage in the last Middleweight competition. Will it be enough to win this, though?

    Roboteers, stand by

    3-2-1: Activate!

    El Media Diablo is cautious off the mark as Hazards weapon spins up to full speed. Hazard moves to one side, but El Media Diablo to another. Theyre eying each other out UNTIL NOW! Hazard charged and sparks flew! Liam is knocked to one side! Is there any damage, I wonder? A small gash, but...OH! I was going to say nothing else, but Hazard strikes again! Liam fires the flipper and a cloud of Co2 emerges from it! Is the Co2 canister punctured? El Media Diablo crashes headlong into the pit release button, with Hazard in pursuit. But whats this? Hazard rams El Media Diablo into the wall, but the spinning bar isnt spinning! Daniel and Buchaniani look on...El Media Diablo turns the tables and flips Hazard up! Not over, though! Hazard backs away, but El Media Diablo catches up and THROEWS Hazard over...and onto its side! Hazard is almost on its top...and now it is! Daniel cant believe it! Refbot comes in to count Hazard out.
    1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!
    El Media Diablo flips Hazard back onto its wheels, but its too late! HA-HA! Daniel drives into the pit! What a terrible end!

    Cease!

    Hazard becomes endangered!
    What a turn around. The winner of the Middleweight Championships, is El Media Diablo!

    Now to take you behind the scenes a bit. This is the judges scorecard until Hazard was counted out

    Hazard: S: 2 C: 1 D: 3 A: 3 Total: 9

    El Media Diablo: S: 2 C: 2 D: 1 A: 2 Total: 7

    That was very close. Had it done to the judges, Liam would have gone out.

    But he gets the trophy anyway. Sorry Daniel, but youve still got the Lightweight Championships won!

    Next up in the Heavyweight Championships:

    The Hurting, armed with a spinning disc that in turn powers a flipping arm
    Absolution, a walking robot with a spinning shell

    Sorry, Kody. I didnt want to hog the whole thread with loads of my posts, so I waited for the others to make some space

    Also, I found some Extreme Warriors Series One and Series Two on Youtube. Type in Robot Wars USA to have a look. Its quite good

    Back to the main event, however

    From England, The Hurting

    Joy McC entered The Hurting. A box wedge with a spinning disc on the front powered by a petrol engine. The disc provides energy to activate a flipper on the back. But if it goes over the flames...

    From Toronto, in Canada, Absolution

    Kody K entered this sloped cylinder which is powered by a petrol engine. Its a walking robot, so it gets a weight advantage. The weapon is the spinning shell with sharp blades

    Roboteers, stand by!

    3-2-1: Activate!

    The Hurting wants to take Absolution on straight away, because although its slow, it makes up for in...DAMAGE! But damage is caused, and not from Absolution, but from The Hurting. The shell has stopped spinning and one of the teeth looks buckled! The Hurtings disc has stopped. Joey looks confident, and tries to push the wounded Absolution into the CPZ. The 8 legs are holding their ground, though. Kody wont let himself be walked over by The Hurting. The Hurting backs away, across the arena...into the pit release button! The champion senses Absolution is out of play. It isnt, but it is walking very slowly, across the flame pit! Oh dear! The Hurting SMASHES into the side! Absolution cant get away. The Refbot comes in and pushes Kody off the flame pit. Has the petrol engine been destroyed? No, its still walking, but The Hurting, 8mph quicker than Absolution, pushes it to the EDGE OF the pit! The Hurting stops though. Is it giving Absolution a chance. Well, Absolution is slowly walking away. The Hurting...mobile but not as quick as before. Did the earlier impact take out not just the weapon, but the drive!? Joey pushes Absolution into the wall, into the angle grinder. This is close. The judges look on. Theres a small gash on the front of The Hurting. Refbot comes in. Hes counting down to the end of the fight! The last ten seconds of FRFFT: EVO. The Hurting backs away and rams into Absolution again. Absolution is trapped between the angle grinder and the flame pit. The Hurting nudges it one more time!

    Cease!

    Theres not much action that I expected. It seemed to be all over from the beginning. The judges are looking over. They have a big choice to make

    S: 1 C: 1 D: 2 A: 3 Total: 7
    Absolution: S: 1 C: 1 D: 1 A: 1 Total: 4

    Joey McC still holds onto the title of Fighting Robots Fan-Fiction Tournament Heavyweight Champion! He and Kody shake hands. Sportsmanship at the end, and thats what counts.

    Sorry, was in Middlesborough for three days and missed all this, so no tactics :P

    Nonetheless, my machines evidently speak for themselves based on that performance, better fights than before Elliot and Im quite happy to say the least with the results. Fair play to Kody for staying in there in the heavies, and giving me a run in the superheavies.
