Thanks for the help, ill try re-binding the transmitter and reciever and see if that helps. If it doesnt, ill try some of the other suggerstions.
Thanks
We tried rebinding it and it didnt work, so were going to get a failsafe. I thought I had allready said about the setup. Weve got a Wotty and spectrum DX6. Where could we get a suitable failsafe for this?
Thanks
james have you got a br reciever?

Failsafes will not work with a Specktrum receiver ...it always outputs a valid signal.
In the case of a BR6000 that loses touch with the transmitter ... as in tech checking..it outputs the positional signals that were set at binding ... I.E. Motors off and weapon off .
An AR6000 failsafes on only one channel ..throttle ...and holds the last signal it got on all the others.
Adrian, i dont think we do, it saysDX6000 on the reciever.
Woody, what could we do other than buying a failsafe?
sorry it took me so long to get back
Youve given an odd designation for the receiver ..
You should have one of these in the bot.

Solution ...assuming you havent got the correct receiver ... buy one.
An alternative is perhaps to go the route Terry miles took in the Futaba 6ex FASST thread.

Im starting this thread off again because weve got some falisafes now.
Weve still got the wotty and specturm but when the failsafes are plugged in they have no effect. if we use the Technobots tx and rx it works. does this mean we cant use spectrum with the failsafes?
thankc

As Woody said you wont get any known failsafes to work with a spektrum. My suggestion is get BR6000 Rx from the coopers, i believe they are about to do an order. Or the Futaba system, seems to work ok although Ive never played about with it.
