Whoa! That is simply incredible! However you have done those textures, particularly on the skirts, it looks very realistic. Great job! Now to look forward to the rest of the new stats!

I made them in 3ds max, essentially modelling and texturing them as if they were going into a modern game. Albeit at a static model, not my best work either, I was going to do better detail on the t-bar and the skirt hinges, but got fed up, lol.

Alex, when exactly did you change from a very good to an outstandingly awesome renderer?

Possibly sometime in the year and a half of my degree so far which is essentially half 3d modelling, lol.
Its a totally different program to my old models, the old one would only let me use flat predefined textures of different materials, for this I made all the textures from scratch. The old program was essentially a 3d cad package for schools, whereas this one is an industry standard 3d modelling package for games and animation so I can do a lot more with it.
On the downside, it takes far longer to do the same stuff.
