Hi guys,
We have just bought a heavyweight and were just wondering where you tested your heavyweights (safely) before events.
Thanks
Allan

Put simply, there is an event every few weeks these days so it would be safer to just bring it to an event, you can usually test it in the intervals, but dont forget to ask the event organsier first. There is an Arena for sale, currently $1.00 on ebay
Id recommend an industrial estate car park on a Sunday.
I test all my bots in the garage and on the drive. its not entirely safe but a sheet of hardox between me and the bot usually suffices.
ALWAYS check all the fail safes operate before testing. If they dont work then dont test.
i go down morrisons car park in the evenings lol
whhat have you got allan? any pics?
Alans got Leveller2.
Fine a quiet car park with a kerb you can stand on and drive from (robots dont do kerbs).
Also helps to make sure theres nothing in the car park (cars or people)

As people say, Carparks are your best bet. But dont listen to Ed in regards to making sure theres nothing in the car park. We tested all our early robots in an Aldi car park, once with a Limo park in it
There wont be anything in a car park that will damage the robot!!!
