Very much the same as the Sheffield mayfest.

The Roaming pay to drive fleet will be in attendance and the arena will be available for any feather weight teams who fancy a day of play.

The event is the Uk Micro mouse finals. Which will see robots from all over the world taking part. Seehttp://micromouse.tic.ac.ukhttp://micromouse.tic.ac.uk for more info.

Outside the Think Tank is not only an open air concert, but a big screen where world cup football will be shown.

Football is the theme, and so robots will of course be playing aswell.

Any teams which want to know any more info, or wish to attend, get in touch to me. john@roamingrobots.co.uk

    See you soon

  4. The Micromice were impressive, well the Japanise ones were, not too sure about the english ones yet Will have to do something about that. The fastest one solved the maze in under 15 seconds, with a speed run of 3.4 seconds.

Cant remember his name, he helped setup the event as well and since his mouse was not finshed (same as mine) we just watched. Shame there were not more public inside, they were all watching the big screen outside.

Flipper was easily fixed, but Graeme looked at Hitter yesturday and the block that holds the Axe is cracked on top of the ram, so need to make a new one . General wear and tear really, that Axe has been used way too many times .

I think the Council got off very lucky this time, but council tax might have to go up to cover the expense as they might not have insurance.
