    You can get away with having one just on one side if it isnt near any weapons or potentially dangerous areas of the robot. If you can make it accessible from the side that would probably be ideal.

    why not do as Tornado or Storm II do and have one link centrally mounted in the rear of the robot? Who cares what side the robot is up. The link is always available.

    Our link is just on the Top, Never had any problems yet, but our weapon is electric and quite slow :sad: so turning it over isnt too much of a hasard if it ended up upside down at the end of a fight. Might be better else where if its pnematic though!

    Well it is easier to roll over a feather to de-link, but for a heavy thats a different story.

    well even if your robot is not invertable, positioning the link can be a problem as you can still end up upside down at the end of a fight. I have placed mine centrally with access from the top. It may not be ideal in certain situations but it has one and so therefore adheres to the rules.
