Ill enter some of my newish designs for a change.

    Name: Infusion
    Motivation: 4 x 125mm wheels
Speed: 0-12MPH [25MPH under Kinetic Boost]
Clearance: 7.5mm (same inverted) 0mm at the front, the wedge scraps the floor.
    Weight: 100kg
    Height: 125mm
    Length: 800mm
    Width: 600mm
Weapon: The weapon is a 28kg Hardox spinning ring (Ala MDU) powered by a LEM170 @ 36v. The rim rotates at 2000rpm and should spin up within 2 seconds max. The weapon is also a storage device for the drive. The spinning rim is connected to each side of the drive via a car air conditioner clutch, when the clutches are engaged, the 31kg kinetic storage bank(the spinning rim) transfers its energy into the drive train, giving it approximately double torque and speed for 2-3 seconds until the rim starts too loose speed and energy. This extra €˜kinetic€™ boost is used to ram into opponents with the front 10mm thick Hardox 500 wedge (similar to the one on Warrior SKF but wider and less depth to it). The front wedge is rubber shock mounted to ensure it survives the biggest of hits.
Drive: 2 x C40-500 Magmotors on 36v geared 7.5:1. The drive is also assisted via the spinning rim as explain above.
    Batteries: 120 x 3600mAh NiCad Cells made into 36v packs. Produces 36v @ 14.4Amp/Hours
Armour: Front wedge is made entirely out of 8mm Hardox 500, the top and bottom of the robot is made out of 8mm Titanium/Vandium, The ring is made out of 10mm Hardox 400 with inner bracing to the perimeter bearing. Inner bulk heads are made from 20mm polycarbonate and 10mm aluminium.
Notes: Invertible, speed when needed and generally well controlled for a spinner. Ram or Spin, Infusion aims to win!

Ill give SOR one last run out before I redesign it again.

    Name: SOR 5.0
Shape: Tall box shape with a front wedge and sloped sides. The sides are also skirted and the front wedge has a Firestorm style €˜wedge extender€™.
Colour: Light grey with a dark grey flipper and SOR across the front in red.
    Dimensions: 700mm x 800mm x 200mm (Length x Width x Height)
Weight: +/- 100kgs (Unsure of the actual weight at the moment)
Motivation: Two CNC Aluminum wheels with holes for weight reducing. There are two choices of tyre that can be used on the edge of these wheels. The first choice are bonded with Vulkalon rubber for superb grip on metal surfaces. The second choice are made with standard rubber with small screws poking out for extra grip on wooden surfaces.
Power: Each wheel is driven by an LEM130 motor. I chose these for two reasons, the first reason being the S28-150€™s weren€™t up to the job and were lacking in the power department. The second reason was their great power to weight ratio was perfect for what SOR wanted. More power for a weight only around a kilo heavier than before. The motors are run at 36v providing decent speed and torque and not going overkill on battery weight.
Speed: 12mph, for a decent running speed and great acceleration.
Turning Circle: 0, with tank style steering.
Ground Clearance: 1mm under the front wedge and 10mm elsewhere. However the front wedge extender and the skirts mean SOR now has a 0mm ground clearance all the way round (other than the back, but that has the disc).
Skirting: 4mm thick Titanium/Vanadium, hinged to the body with a rotary joint.
    Armour: 3.25mm thick Hardox monocoque.
Weapon: The usual rear hinged flipping arm at the front that goes across the top and then down the front wedge and finally forming a horizontal Bigger Brother like flipping platform (only the width of the front). This is powered by an 80mm bore ram and CO2 at 145psi contained in two 2.2kg canisters giving over 30 flips in a fight. At the rear there has been a bit of a modification. The rear spinning weapon remains, only this time it is a Hardox horizontal spinning bar. This is powered by an S28-400 Magmotor at 24v.
SRIMECH: Invertible and the flipper can self right it.
Strengths: Compact, powerful, manoeuvrable, low clearance, tough armouring, decent weapons, can self right and work inverted. A great all rounder basically.

Name - A Night at the Bar

    Shape - A wide cylinder-shaped axlebot

    Weight - 100 Kilogram

    Speed - 24 km/h (15mph, geared for control)

    Dimensions - 25x110x25 cm

    Ground Clearance - Well, it€™s an axlebot€¦

    Power - 2 S28-400 Magmotors at 24 volt

Movement - Two axlebot wheels, 25cm diameter

    Turning Circle - Zero

Weaponry - In the middle of the cylinder, at 5 cm above the floor, is a 60 cm hardox bar with thick tungsten teeth on it. It weighs 25 kilogram and is powered by a B42-500Magmotor at 36 volt, spinning at 2000 rpm, giving it a nice spin up time. It€™s able to poop 55 kJ of energy straight into any opponent, so ha! The bar is mounted in such a way that it sticks out from the front and from the back, basically making it a double-headed spinning bar.

The only reason my bot can keep on driving normally even though it has only two wheels on the floor is because the centre of gravity is somewhere near the middle of the two teeth.

Armour - If you split the cylinder in halve, horizontally, the upper part of it is 4,5 mm hardox, and the lower part 5 mm, which is to centre the weight around the lower part, which is needed for the srimech. The insides are made shockproof with rubber, so it won€™t be destroyed by it€™s own weapon.

Srimech - Seeing there is a huge bar spinning in front and at the back of the bot, chances are a wedge won€™t be able to get underneath it from there anyway.
IF it is flipped, the bar will stop spinning and glide inside the cylinder, where it perfectly fits. At that point the bot is an almost perfect cylinder, and will be able to roll. The centre of gravity will roll in such a way that it will point downwards. As I designed it, the centre of gravity should be somewhere in the middle of the tungsten teeth, therefore it will roll to the position shown on the pick, and the bar will be put on again.

Strenghts - Devastating weaponry sticking out at the front and back, at only 5 cm above the floor. Should be able to fend off wedges.
Weakness - Can bounce off though armour, or the arena wall, or even the arena floor when the cylinder topples. And seeing my ONLY contact with the floor is the two wheels, this might become a rocking chair on steroids. Won€™t be pushing very much either.

NAME- Metal Sonic Spin Dash (formerly S.D. IV) (HW)
SHAPE- low skirted box, with fixed front wedge & sloped sides
COLOUR- blue bodywork, with red-and-white striped skirting
    WEIGHT- about 100kg
    DIMENSIONS- 102cm X 75cm X 20cm
    SPEED- 16mph
    TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at front with spatula, 0mm elsewhere with skirts, 12mm elsewhere without skirts
    ARMOUR- 3.75mm Hardox
    WHEELS- inside robot, 6WD
POWER- 2 x LEM-130 MagMotors. These will run at 36v and produce approximately 18hp.
WEAPONS- The main weapon here is really the excellent traction, but like all its other incarnations, Spin Dash still maintains its Pussycat-style vertical saw blade, running at 3000rpm. This time, however, the four-clawed spinner sticks halfway out of the front wedge, so that when the wedge/spatula combo bashes underneath an opponent, both the wheels and the underbelly are at the mercy of the saw.
Also features several Mute-style barbs on top to hook onto other robots and let me drag them around the ring
SRIMECH- a rear-hinged arm on top with a basic low-pressure CO2 set-up. Can be used to about 30-40 times and is ONLY used for self-righting in order not to waste the gas supply
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag (though, forgot to add to pic. Shockaroonie!), has F*** Shadow! written on the underbelly in red
STRENGTHS- excellent traction, fast, manoueverable, tough armour, well-skirted, great at getting under everyone else
WEAKNESSES- so-so turning ability, teething troubles?

Thanks to Tony for hosting the pic : http://img322.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fifthspindash7mn.jpghttp://img322.imageshack.us/my.php?i...pindash7mn.jpg

6 wheelosauros style discs with 2 in the front 1 on the right hand side 2 on the back and 1 on the left hand side and everything else is wheelosauros
The day Tim makes realistic stats will come when Andy and Frank hate coffee...And lets not forget when Steve hates Sonic.
