To form a non profit organisation is very easy in Sweden. There are a few commitments (as Jonas mentions the board have to have a few documented meetings per year and so on) but nothing very hard to fulfill.
And there should be a few contributions to get, at least in the beginning.

Svenska Robot Frbundet kan nog missfrsts tyvrr. Det r ju inte ASEA direkt . S ngot mer t kamphllet r nog bttre tycker jag.

It may be wise not to use words like fighting and war. It can be difficult to explain to viewers and sponsors.

I understand the subtleties in a language and can€™t really read Swedish.
A lot of people have problems with references to violence. Robot Wars, the Dutch Battles was taken of television because the broadcasting company referred to war, smart missiles, and so on, at the exact moment the USA and their brothers-in-arms attacked Iraq; bad timing. Potential sponsors do not want to be associated with violence. So when the €œbad€ words are not in the name, you do not have to go trough the trouble of explaining, but can do business faster.

Think of this sport as education, entertainment and a way of developing several types of engineering. This way, shops, schools, TV, and governments will be open for co-operation.

    Good luck.
