    Hello All,

I am from the U.S. where we have been competing with 150g bots for only about 2 years. One of my latest ants won a championship, but it was a pusher so I decided to rebuild it.

    New Stats
    2- 76:1 Sanyo Micro motors
    2- 7.4 145mah Kokams in series
1- Carbon fiber frame and panneling
    1- 40 gram aluminum drum with titanium teeth(geared 3.5:1)
1- Plasma Dash 6 amp speed 130 motor for weapon
4- 1.125 inch urethane wheels connected via rubber bands and groove lathed into the wheels.
    1- 3 gram micro receiver
1- Barello Ant 150 ESC for weapon and drive

All of the parts except for the receiver have been collected and construction should start this week. I expect this to be a powerful 150g bot, and hope I can come to the UK to compete in the future. I will be posting my progress and pictures here as I have them.

This is a 150g UK antweight. I know about most of the 150g bots from the UK, but most are from old, non updated sites.

Received the sanyos and drum yesterday. Milled the endcaps and its almost time to work on the frame.

I will have pics by the end of this week, I have most of the parts, but the frame is being milled in Alabama, and I wont have it for at least another week.

No, it is an actual drum like Solaris, or Helios. Dereks bots are amazing and he is a great guy to learn from. he has a new 1 pound antweight named Poundcake that uses a similar design concept.(Drumlette)

I was interested in the NC Stinger motor, but they arent availiable here, and Im not sure if they can safely be run at 14.8v.

There designed to run at 14.4v so I am guessing 0.4 of a volt wont affect them too much
