I do not build robots, I write about a boy who does. With a son who built a robot as part of his Computer systems degree, I myself became very interested in people who do build robots. I regularly watched "Robot Wars" in the UK and was sad when it was no longer shown, I also regularly watch Battlebots. So Fighting Robots Association members may find this novel, "The Boy Who Loved Robots" to be published by Austin Macauley Publishers on 21st February, of special interest. But be warned, this is a VERY emotional story, because Robert loses his father, who encouraged him enormously, when he was 11 years old. You can then read about what happened next in Robert's life, and the truly amazing way it then turned out to become.
