Thread: Featherweight Restrictions

In the past the rules gave the max dimensions of a machine of any weightclass except antweights.

    1m*1.4m*2m

But nobody ever tried that large, not even in the superheavyweight class.

The size limit of any weight class varies depending on however big the door is of that particular arena

In all seriousness though, unless you deliberately trying to make a stupidly big featherweight it won't be over - the weight of the components limits it unless you using paper thin armour over a massive area

    Mmmmmmm!!!! Gabriel got close

As far as Featherweights are concerned there is no real limit as the weight is so light I suppose the biggest featherweight as in height width and overall length would have been Seraph.
    520mm high 900mm wide and 1200mm long.

If it's any help, the Robo Challenge arena is 3.6m x 4.8m, so if you want to compete in those events, just make sure you can fit in there

The Robots Live and Extreme Robots events run the feather fights in their heavyweight arenas, so unless you've got something ridiculously crazy planned, you should be fine

Yeah feathers are usually like, a little bigger than your average RC car.
