Burket trouble

Hi, having a bit of trouble getting burkets to fire properly...

I have 3 burkets- 2 inflow, one outflow.

I've got one (of the inflows) working well.

However out of the other two one seems to be permanently shut and the other permanently (a bit) open.

I've opened them up and had a look inside for swarf and rubbish but couldn't find anything.

Is there anything obvious I'm missing?

Some experience talking here.

Burkerts need more than 24V to control CO2 pressure.
Some do the job on 24V , others won't even budge on 30V.
That is why Burkert sells a valve rated @ 50 bar that can withstand 200bar. It's the control issue.
That could explain the non working valve. Feed it 36V and see that it does.

The one that seems open all the time. Or the seal on the rim leaks, or the seal on the lower edge is damaged.
I would be surprised if the spring is cracked and not powerfull enough to close the plunjer like it should.

Thanks for that- so I had a go all the way up to 40v with no result. Still not opening.

Inside they both look clean and (to me) the seals look fine.

It's a bit of a mystery :/

Have you checked that the top half of the burkert isn't on 180 degrees out? Make sure the 2 holes in the 2 halves of the burkert line up. Easy mistake to make when when you are in a rush. Trust me I know lol

Clive you genius. Occam's razor of robotics (so may be it should be Occam's Razer) is that if I've messed with it, and now it's broken, then I probably broke it.
Do you have any thoughts on the one that always seems a little open? I cant see any damage but is it likely to be a defective seal?

Glad we have solved 1 problem James. Sounds quite possible about the 2nd one.
