Another dumb question. Finally got my head around gear ratio's. but after looking at a few of people drive trains how to you attach the bigger cog/sprocket to the smaller 2nd stage cog that are on the same axel/bore.?!
I'm assuming there simply bolted together, is this the done thing?!? Just worried about lining up holes and drilling though such a big diameter with the sprockets from technobots.com. The other way I thought (no drilling and misaligned holes) was a keyed axel, but then how would this be mounted to the chassis as it isn't circular. Thank you.
I think i had a 12t and a 60t sprockets on the same shaft, just weld them together, simples.
