I was wondering what type of floor is usually used during events? I'm working out what type of wheels to use and how to best to get the maximum amount of traction, as cheaper wheels will mean cheaper rubber and less grip etc.
It can be painted wood or hardox steel. I would imagine for the tv show it will be a hardox steel floor.

Actually I guess I should add, that that's what the fresh arena floor will be. You will probably never get to fight on a fresh floor (it's rare unless you are lucky with your fight scheduling) so the surface will be a mixture of paint, dust, dirt, paint chips, potentially oil or grease or rubber left from other machines tyres.
