After some good bungee cords for my feather flipper and some sort of crimpy things for connecting them in a loop - is there any type that are best and any off the shelf crimpy connector things or wud i need to make some

We use a drilled block and fix a plate to it to clamp one end and use a u bolt to clamp the bungee once its tight
