It shouldn't make much of a difference to be honest. The gap is only small, and we actually had a few panel's last year like it as we had to do some last minute repairs.

The gap will be to big for NST to get stuck in it, besides it was one of my wheels that NST smashed off that totaled one of the screens. Might make it easier to get robots pinned against the wall but as it will be the same for everyone it wont make any difference.

Why is it we are clutching at straws, all towards the demise of NST? One of us needs to build a machine that can just take it on... which is a problem cos I can't think a design which could reliably beat it! Well there is one but its crazy.

A two drill drive wedge with angled enough sides could take NST out. Wedges have been causing spinner upsets since the start of this sport.

I tried that and left the arena in 6 pieces. Got the same issue again with LS4 in my first fight this year but at least this time its not made of plastic, the armour is sloped at 45dgrs and... I have a plan!
