    Sounds like the link the between the BEC pads inside has been broken. The turnigy speedos come with a switch that turns on and off the bec via two pads on the board. It looks like the bot bitz speedos connect this inside as I did with my own speedos. The easy thing to do is to not bother doing anything as your setup works. The other option is to open up the nackered speedo. There should be two pads on the power in side that should be connected.

    That would be my assumption, yes. From memory, if you open up the speedo and are looking at it with the power wires on the left and the motor wires on the right then the pads are in the top left hand corner.

    I'd say leave 10-14 days, or longer. Ours (to Spain not the UK, mind, with several bank holidays messing things up) took 20 days if I remember right.

    Buy a programmer for £15 online, solder the connections to a turnigy 85a controller (around £25 each) and you have as many as you need. Give a man a fish and all that.
