Hopefully the extra weight of the new axe will help a little with the wheelspin issue as well. Any chance we'll be able to see it at Grantham or Bolton? (I can't make Portsmouth)

14 hours on the road in 1 day? Jesus, I thought I had it bad. At least with Portsmouth you won't need the M25 which for us at least was the biggest hold up.

As far as I'm aware, you're right about there not being a specific stopping mechanism Jamie. When I've tested Neophyte in the past with the locking bar in the actuator has simply stopped, which I...

That is correct, 205mm for a 100mm stroke. However the actuator will stop itself if it is unable to move to it's maximum extension, so you wouldn't need to worry about making the full 305mm fit....

Yes you can. They are rated at 2-4s, which refers to the cell count of the lipo battery. Each cell is worth 3.7v, so 2s is 7.4v, 3s is 11.1v, 4s is 14.8v etc.

    Hi Max
I own the bar that Drizzlebots sell & bought a DYS1806 motor & 12A Afro ESC to go with it. Both weapons have the same 9-16mm channels & I can attach the bar directly to the motor.

9mph should be quick enough. Keep in mind at live events you'll be thrown in with at least 15 other bots (sometimes more than twice that) so you there will always be an opponent less than 4 feet away.
