Featherweight Motors
OK, finally got this whole brushless speed controller thing working (Stand back and awaits blue smoke and flames to start billowing out from places i didn't know smoke could billow out of!). What do people recommend as a decent drive system motor nowadays?
Had been looking at the Turnigy 5065 propdrive or 5060 aerodrive but thought I'd ask if anyone knew better?
Thanks
Andy

Hey!
I'm no brushless expert, but I've seen many brushless contraptions use the Propdrive 5060 without many issues, can't voich for the Turningy one

I've used lots of the propdrives, happy with them

The NTM 5060 is a very useable motor.
But I tend to "ruggedize" them with glue for the magnets, and epoxy for the cable lead entrance.

Traditionally I've always used something like Loctite 401 for magnets. I had read people were using epoxy for holding them in on brushless motors. Wondered if there was any reason for this such as heat dissipation or similar?
