Im curious as in how many robots are going to be in the world championship and who the bots that we dont know that are in are.

Wouldnt Sparticus be in for USA, as it qualified in Heat D, I also heard about Pulverizer automatically qualifying too.
Thats...10, isnt it...hmm...maybe if we knew what the format was wed find out.
Wont Typhoon be in, seeing as it won?
Rawbot from Sweden are in, I think
I wonder if X-Terminator will be in, seeing as they said the top 3 from UKRWS7 would be in, but seeing as Tornado were guaranteed a place after winning S6.....
Actually, I think Typhoon 2 dropped out due to battery problems.
Theres 12 robots taking part in this world championships.
What are the other four tom?? is X-Terminator in seeing as Typhoon are not there?
12 robots to represent the entire robotic combat community is quite poor. I suppose that there are not many nations and the American entries are not representative of the robotic combat community in the states.
Well, there *were* qualifiers. Youre right about the US, but I guess we cant blame them for concentrating on Battlebots (although we *can* blame Comedy Central for the contract).

Wow i didnt think you done short posts Andrew. :)
P.S. how is this structured with 12 robots? is it 3 four way melees or 4 three way melees??
Four threeway melees
anyone know the draw?
Well, judging from the clips;
Supernova fights Spartacus 2 somewhere along the line.
Tornado vs Ansgar 3 vs Storm 2
And TAN battles Rawbot in a certain round.
The third machine in the Spartacus/Supernova fight is the Belgian Hard.
Which would make the last melee Crushtacian, Snakebite and Pulveriser. Whos Rawbot?
Rawbot was last seen in the European Championship. Its an invertible 4WD pushing box from Sweden, with no real weapons except for a few spikes (as far as I remember)
and a power drill in the front-centre of the bot.
To what Frank said, it depends who else is in the TAN/Rawbot melee.
typhoon was in the TAN/Rawbot melee.
Niels
But I heard that Typhoon wasnt in, and what about the other melee?
i think it was the middle weight Typhoon, not the heavey weight one in the world champinships
Thats a bit unfair fighting robots twice its size.
What about that dutch champion?
we werent in any of the world championship competitions with any of our robots.
We pulled out of the WC because we only had 2 sets of batteries and they were also used in the middleweight so we decided to give up on the WC and enter the middleweight contest.
Thats a bit unfair fighting robots twice its size
So who cares what happens to robots twice its size?:proud:
George: Occasionally.

Ansgar will end up against Storm II and Tornado.
The Typhoon/TAN/Rawbot melee is without Typhoon2.
So the Swedish Pushbox with Drill( bosch 750s, 4QD 36V 120 pro speedos, industrial gearboxes and 4wd on wet kart tyres) will have to handle it with TAN
Pulveriser is in another melee, but dont ask me what one. I was working at that moment.
The camping site had to be cleaned.
Wouldnt that logically put Pulveriser in with Snakebite and Crushtacean?
Is there a point of playing off Rawbot V TAN?? I thought that only 2 go through from each melee to make up 8 quarter finals.
Who knows?
Maybe only 4 go through to make up 2 semi finals.
Thats how it will be - after all the last world championship did the same. And it is RW, so they couldnt possibly get more than a handful of short fights into 45 minutes...
