RIP Peter Willson-Hughes

It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Roboteer Peter Willson-Hughes of Team Wrexham Wreckers. Pete passed away on the morning of October 29th. Pete joined the robot combat community in 2003 with his grandson Dan, and was best known for building the heavyweight axe robot Crossfire. He also ran the heavyweight robot Edge Hog with Dan for several years at live events, and built many unique featherweight robots. Pete enjoyed taking his robots to birthday parties and events, to inspire future engineers, and gave a lot of his time to helping other roboteers to achieve their dreams of competing. His funeral will be held on November 16th.
