I think (well, I did at the time) they must have gave up once both Wheely Big Cheese and Gemini had been disposed of, and tried to get Chaos 2 to the final where it COULD have fought Hypno-Disc. I think, after the potential of Chaos 2 vs Gemini and Chaos 2 vs Wheely Big Cheese went out of the window, they HAD to get it to the Grand Final, and thus go for Chaos 2 vs Hypno-Disc. Of course, thanks to Pussycat, that back-fired, thus we got a nice, fair fight to end a cruddy Season. I say its fair because Pussycat (to me) had a whole heap more problems than Chaos 2 did at the end of the fight.
WHY they didnt just throw Wheely Big Cheese in with Chaos 2 immediatly is beyond me. But I could never help but think that, possibly, they didnt like Tornado at the time, and were trying to make it lose. Or maybe they were just trying to make WBC look better after it (wrongly) made it to the semis.
Whatever the case, I still cant help but think that Season 4 was a very problematic season with too many dumb decitions.

The Series 5 match-up between Chaos 2 and Smidsy (when they called for the match to be restarted) I thought was a bit suspect to favourable judging on Chaos 2s behalf. After beaching Simdsy against the arena wall Chaos 2 flipped itself over and cracked the polycarb panels on the flipper in such a way that it couldnt self right again. Now the way I saw it was that Chaos 2 ran out of gas and was immobile but Smidsy was still moving its jaws and running its wheels. Surely if they had been against another robot that wasnt Chaos 2, Refbot would have dislodged them from the arena wall to allow them to carry on fighting? It just seemed to me as if the makers didnt want yet to see Chaos 2 put out of the competition.
I havent got anything agaisnt Chaos 2 by the way, I think its a great machine - I just think this battle should have had a different outcome.

Neither do I, but I think that fight was perfectly fair. In fact, I dont think it SHOULD have gone to the rematch.
The way I saw it, Chaos 2 had beaten S.M.I.D.S.Y. It had flipped it against the arena wall, and the cyber-bot had been stuck on said wall for at least 10 odd seconds before the former champion made its oopsie. Regardless, both were still mobile (spinning wheels, firing weapons to try and unblock themselves), but not in the right way.
If there is a robot that gets away with too much, Id have to say that it is Dominator 2. You remember the fight it had with Hypno-disc? The boring one? Well, Dominator was clearly moving on one wheel only. This meant that the fight should have ended, Dominator SHOULD have been counted out and so on and so forth.
Other robots get counted out if its clear they dont have full mobility. Yet Dominator gets away with it...TWICE!

What about Razer v Behemoth in the 1st world championship final?Im sure Razer was on its side for more than 30 seconds, but the producers wanted it to win, so the judges didnt deem it immobile like they should have done.

Yeah well, this thread was made in 2006. Somebody bumped it after almost 2 years and I told them off for it...it's not too good to bump dead threads. Especially when your post doesn't have anything to do with Panic Attack vs. Stinger.
Also, where did you get that info about Storm II?
