5 video commentaries during the five RW TV shows fights

For our robot Lightning. I've turned down the original sound, and instead placed over a voice over so you know what I was thinking, what went right and wrong during the fights, and generally get some interesting background information.

The first two fights are from Tag Team Terror in Extreme 2, and the next three from Series 7. We meet Stinger, Nasty Humphrey, Bulldog Breed, Robochicken, 13 Black, The Alien, Herbinator, Thor, and Gravity. Enjoy.

cool video :) ive often wondered thou to say how often you still use the forum etc, how come you dont bring lightning to events? Is it just a lack of time or something

Yeah, it is lack of time. We're just doing other things. I have a young family that are growing up now, and I want to spend as much time as I can doing things with them. They've been roboteered out! But I still keep an eye on things :-)

Very interesting to watch.

I stopped watching Robot Wars after the first few series as a kid so I never saw just how much more powerful Gravity's flipper is than any other robot!

Very interesting! Why was Gravity's flipper running at half power? So's not to be so outstanding next to the British bots, maybe? Can't be having that! :lol:

I don`t have sound on my work pc so I`ll have to look tonight.

Gravity's flipper was at half power for safety reasons so I heard. As it was they flattened the arena side wall with another robot (Hydra).

I'll think your find 13 Black gets a good review John. It actually cut through Lightning's bodywork at one point in that fight - the most damage we have ever sustained. We got you back though :-)
