Crew will be at the Travelodge, Hickstead, was planning on going to the Premier Inn like last year, but it'll be £200 more, i dont think so!

We think Storm II will run on 3 packs ok, as the 4 packs never seemed to even get warm, but would rather run on 4 packs if we can.

Ed I have a spare pack but only 9 cells not 10, to big to fit anyway but I have got a new cell you could solder in aswell.
Terry thanks, at the moment I'm trying to work out which cell failed - looking at the pack it looks like 3 are corroded but it seems unlikely three cells have failed !
Investigating to do - on the plus side, having stripped a pack apart, it turns out that the Robot Marketplace A123 packs are very well put together ! Just a shame they don't sell them any more :o(

Note for ants, as dave weston cant make it, i dont think we have anyone bringing an arena. So you will have to arrange one between yourselves.
Hi guys,it's pugsters mum.....we see there's been a issue with the arena and of course this is stressful for pugsters as he was hoping to compete his ant weight.if any one else is going to bring a arena can they tell us so we can be clear with pugsters wether he'll be participating......we have a piece of wooden flooring it's 42 inch squared and his dad could batton the sides so it could be used as arena,but I don't know what the rules are about arenas,let us know if that would help!thanks.
If the ant weights don't go ahead can they still come as roboteers to watch?
i have an arena, not going to burgess hill though. someone might be able to swing by my house (reigate) and bring it.
My arena is ready I will upload picture it has two death zones with lots of spikes in them now

Arena looks good, but for it to be AWS legal it must have 2 sides that robots can drop off and be raised 30cm off the ground

Only needs to be aws legal if you're having an aws in it, also you need a polycarbonate enclosure to host an aws with it.
