1x 12amp brushless esc £6
1x orange 4ch 2.4 dsm2 reciever £8
1x 6v voltage regulator £2
2x v tail mixers £2 each

may also sell my eggbeater set up (just the weapon) for the right price as I have too many robots, 22mm dia brushless outrunner with a 30mm dia p20 cnc cut and nitride hardened eggbeater and support bearing. this however was very expensive to produce and I won't sell unless I get an offer around what it cost me. it can be seen here:

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
ill take the turnigiy servos, voltage regulator and posiblyt the savrox servos.
what plugs are on the 180mah lipos?
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
sure, the plugs atm are micro jst I think they're called? I can put on standard 0.1 plugs if you would prefer though
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
nah, it ok ive changed my mind about them, when is the next event your planning to go to?
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
I won't be at an event for a few months I'm afraid, those prices include p&p though
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
cool, give us a week or two becuse im going on holiday shortly but thanks
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
i might be interested in one ot two of those things (although i live in sweden, can you post it here?) :)
i'd like to know the size and weight of the 2a motor controllers, the size and weight of the 4ch reciver, and also the weight of the wheels(might buy two!) :)
Cheers,
Philip J
Sweden :P

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Yep I can post to sweden no problem, wheels weigh about 3g each with tyres, the controllers are 51x16.6x11.4 at the largest points, weigh 6.5g each. The reciever is 29x13x4 at the largest points and weighs 1.2g

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
sounds very good, and 13 g for dual motor control is okay, since my only option otherwise is a sabertooth..
just one mor question: do you have another picture of the reciver, couldn't which one of the little boards was the reciver
will you charge extra for shipping all the way to sweden?
Regards,
Philip J
Sweden :)

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
It's the blue board on the right, 2 up from the bottom. It doesn't have plugs but the pads on the board are quite large and easy to solder to. Shipping to sweden will be about 2 pound more at a geuss.

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
What sort of mixing is V-Tail? I'm yet to actually figure this out.....
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Standard mixing, to combine two sides to make forward backwards left and right on one stick.
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Fleaweight, brushless motor and 12amp esc sold.
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
How much for the weapon? You can message me.
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Sorry the weapon has been sold. The rest still available.
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Bump, Philip do you still want those pieces?
Everything still available apart from the flea, brushless motor, 12a brushless esc and the eggbeater set up/

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
yes i'll take, the reciver, the speedos and the 4 wheels, will paypal do for payment?
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
No problem, Yes paypal is fine my address is josh.valman '@' hotmail.co.uk If you could add an extra 2 pound just to cover the extra postage I can have that posted tomorrow for you.
Cheers,

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Still have parts left, harry do you still want those pieces?
I'm also considering selling my pilot chamber valve experiment which is basically a 4wd version of POP! a pneumatic antweight. The pneumatic system doesn't work but could do with some tweaking. the system is fully cnc machined from aluminium and sits in a 3d printed nylon chassis. It uses a 8mm parker solenoid valve to actuate the pilot chamber, the issue is the shuttle inside the chamber and getting it to move effectively. the robot comes as is with all the electronics and the shuttle issues. This cost serious money to experiment with and I'm only going to sell it for the right price as I don't have the time to get it working properly but I'd like to see it go to somebody who could do something with it. contact me for a full breakdown of parts included. I'm only going to sell this to somebody I am confident can do something with this. It's made to run at 100psi and weighs 150g.

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Looks good Josh, what issue exactly did you have? The piston not free enough? Pm me a price.

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
I've had several messages so I'll post here rather than reply to everyone separately.
The valve has a shuttle in the centre with an o ring in the face that seals against the face on the buffer and holds back the pressure, this is held in place by the equal pressure in the chamber behind it and a small spring, when the pressure in the chamber is vented by the solenoid valve the shuttle should be fired backwards through the chamber releasing air from the buffer and up into the cylinder through an EDM cut slot to maximise flow rate/time. or that is the theory, in reality the shuttle does not seal against the face when empty which makes it impossible to fill the tanks as the air leaks through the cylinder. I have a feeling it may be fixable with a slightly stronger spring in which case it is a simple fix but it may need more tweaking than that and I sell it at the risk of it needing some proper work.
I've also been asked If I can supply the models to make it possible to edit and reprint/cut the parts, and the answer to that is of course, they are made in google sketchup and the cnc stuff is also in a .dxf 2d file.
I'd be looking for about 500, that doesn't even cover the cost of parts and the machining but for something that needs more work I feel it wrong to ask the full price of components and machining.
I can explain further or provide more detailed drawings if anybody is interested. I also have a 3d printed mock up of the pneumatic system and the adapter to make the check valve for filling compatible with a standard bicycle pump.
Feel free to contact me.

im still up for the stuff josh, will send you a message in a few days

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
No problem Harry.
I will accept offers around 425 for Pop! Includes the fully operational electronics with spektrum ar6300 receiver.

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
I've reversed the bedding insert inside the chamber so that it now reduces the spring length and increases the spring pressure. It still doesn't fill with a hand pump which suggests it does just need a larger spring. It does however fire when I fill it with CO2 and it did scare the life out of me as it tried to jump out of my hands... video below:

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
150psi from a hand pump! You must have forearms like a Gorilla!
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
100psi, from a 15mm ID pump, that's about 12/13kg force same as the output from the robot. All I need is to hook them together and make it self sufficient
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
Not a bike pump then?
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
I make homemade air rifles as a side hobby, just like to say that for a ‚4 bike pump I can get 240 psi! :D
-
Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
will accept offers around £350...

Re: antweight/beetleweight parts clearout
If I was to design, print and build the eggbeater weapon into a robot with all the internals would there be anybody interested in it? I need to shift some of these parts.
