what are the pros and cons of both electric and pneumatic axes? Since they seem (too me) fairly even
For feathers, with the limitations on moving mass and power transfered, I don't see any advantage to a pneumatic axe.
On the other hand, electric axes have their disadvantages too. In Kashei we have a serieus axe-motor burn-out rate.
im using speed 900's on my axe but thats the only reservation i have that the constant reversing of power may cause the motors life to be shortened
any videos of Kashei?
anyone else got any views?
Nope
fair enough gary
Don't you already own an electric axe?
Yes, there are video's of Kashei
The black one is Kashei, the grey one Holzmaster.

nope, axes are cool regardless
i do really like axe bots and... its not a flipper!
i have yet to see an axe bot that is :proud:
well it seems that bots are mostly flippers but im aiming for a hybrid axe/lifter bot :)

you right, i aint. the axe head is going to be cut in such a way that its an axe one side, and a lifter/flipper thing the other way :)
or, i light go for a detachable axe head design so i can have different ones :)
No, he's planning a Bash Gordon clone. Though a Gravedigger clone might be better.Quote:
