hey everyone
got a few more issues with my bot, only one of my relays is working and i need both to work, any ideas what it could be?
im using the large rc dule relay from robot market place
i cant figure it out as it worked the last time i pluged it in but now i got nothing!
although i did have to do a quick transportation of it but i can see what may have been knocked loose in order to cause it
all my connections are fine but i dont know how i can test if somethings shorted out or blown on a relay, any ideas?
can anyone offer advice since im really pushing to try and get it done for gilford
r u going to guilford and sorry im not one to ask haha
If I can get it ready in time then I will but it's going to be hard
dnt u have a ant weight or somthing u could come with :)
Smallest class I do is feather

What are you controlling with it ?
Pop the cover off the relay that isn't working ..it may have a welded contact.
It should be possible to replace any defective relay.
Just got the problem sorted guys
matt, i hope you dont mind me using your thread but i think its relevant.
im having trouble failsafing my featherweight, its using a spectum AR6100e rx and a dx5e transmitter, i am using a scorpion xl speed controler.

thank you.
The AR6100e seems to be incompatible for our hobby with only the throttle channel failsafeing by going to a preset position ..thus it's no good IMO for Robot Combat.Quote:
Smartsafe Failsafe
The AR6100/AR6100e features SmartSafe„ failsafe. SmartSafe is ideal for most types of electric aircraft. With SmartSafe, when signal is lost the throttle channel only is driven to its preset failsafe position (normally low throttle) while all other channels hold last command.
ah, ok thanks
