7 Years since the last event was held there, so we thought we'd see if the people of Worthing are still up for it. Robots Live will be heading to the south coast, so make sure you bring your bucket and spade!

Correct me if I am wrong but the last time a robot event was there the arena was MDF?
If so when Spawn Again flipped Pussycat out of the arena I ran in and nicked a bit of the shrapnel and got everyone to sign it : D

Think it was the first event for the Robodome, i didn't get as I was busy finishing a robot for Technogames, i think qualifying was the following day.
can camping be arranged?
I think I'll be there.
If people want to camp, we can look into it and try and get a bulk rate.
if ypu can find out for us and let us know then i think i would be able to go :)

Wimp! although i will be in a hotel, done the camping before whilst running an event, not again! Burgess Hill advertising doesn't reach as far as Worthing, as it tends to cover more north, so will be a different area we focus on.

ive been camping more times than I can remember and september is normally great weather for it :)

I still think Exeter was the worst for camping, shortly followed by the PTDR in Sparkford/UK FW champs in Yeovil :P
any news on camping rates?
need to know numbers, most sites are between £10-£15 per night for a tent.
would it be the normal set up of lunches provided, we buy breakfast and dinner?

has anyone booked a room yet, and where if you have, and cost ?
Crew are in a B&B, but B&B's wont let you have just one night, cheapest hotel i've found so far is Travelodge Littlehampton Rustington, which was £58. You not going to get any cheap deals as its at the seaside and still considered as peak season, but you might find cheaper if you look around, just check on parking for those in vans or with trailers.

Hi guys, I am going to have to miss this one so Pressure, Puck and Skink will not be making an appearance. :(
On the day before I will be having about half a kilo of cobolt chromium inserted into my right hip! :shock:
But in three months or so I will be leaping about like a gazelle again! :D

have emails been sent yet alan ? also have you got any of that orange shock cord left ? it works perfectly as in toxic it has to double its lenth when its streched and all of the other stuff i have tried is either snapping because it wont stretch that much or its just too thick and takes too much energy too stretch it, if you havent got any left do you remember where it came from ?

Yes could do Alan, it must stretch 150 % more, I've been looking online and a lot of them only stretch to 100% . Might have to email them fer specs.
